Holly-Hunter

Holly Hunter (born Holly Hunter) is an American actor and producer. She is gaining recognition for her outstanding performances in films including Broadcast News The Firm The Piano and The Incredibles. The movie Piano earned her numerous awards, among them an Oscar. Actresses have a long experience of performing on Broadway off-Broadway, Broadway and various productions. Since her childhood, she performed Helen Keller in a play in the fifth grade. Mumps made her lose her hearing in one of her ears, but this was not enough to stop the actress from fulfilling her dream. She studied drama at college, and then moved to Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania to New York City to follow her dreams. She was introduced to Beth Henley in an elevator and they worked together in Broadway Crimes of the Heart, Hunter's first film. When she moved to Los Angeles she tried to find film roles, and was able to secure the role of a co-star in Swing Shift. For the past 30 years, she has appeared on various TV series and movies. Holly Hunter won a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, in addition to her Women in Film Lucy Award.
